The Bachelor season 28's Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson may never get married, if the signs are any indication. 28-year-old Joey made his television debut on Charity Lawson's season of The Bachelorette, and though he didn't win her heart, he was given a second chance at finding love on national television. For her part, 25-year-old Kelsey was one of 32 eligible women vying for Joey's heart, the highest number of women to ever participate on the unscripted dating show. One of the other women was Jenn Tran, who is now the current lead of The Bachelorette.
Joey and Kelsey hit it off right away, and they continued to get closer as The Bachelor season 28 progressed. After a season of solo dates, group outings, international travels, adventures, tears, kisses, and dramatic moments, Joey gave Kelsey his heart, his final rose, and a Neil Lane diamond engagement ring. As Bachelor season 28 cameras stopped rolling, the happy young couple rode off into the sunset together. Though it seemed like Joey and Kelsey were destined to live happily ever after, there are signs of possible trouble in paradise.
Joey & Kelsey Felt The Need To Reveal When They Plan On Getting Married
They Caved To Public Pressure
Joey and Kelsey got engaged in November 2023, which is when The Bachelor season 28 finished filming. Over nine months had passed since Joey put a ring on Kelsey's finger, but the couple seemed nowhere near picking a date. During an interview with TV Insider, Kelsey and Joey both said they've got a lot going on and don't want to add the pressure of planning a wedding to the mix.
Since that May 2024 interview, The Bachelor 28 couple caved to fan pressure, and shared more information about a possible wedding date.
Recently, Kelsey and Joey posted an Instagram sponsorship with the convenience store chain Wawa. In the clip, fans ask the couple about their wedding date. When Joey looked at Kelsey for an answer, she replied that the wedding would take place "definitely within the next two years."

They Finally Announced Their Engagement
In the Instagram post, Kelsey went on to announce that she and Joey would settle on a date and location for their Bachelor wedding "within the next six months." Since it's already late summer, another six months means that they won't announce a wedding date until 2025. The fact of the matter is, the longer they wait, the less likely they are to get married.
Though they have yet to announce a date, Joey and Kelsey shared their engagement film shoot. The Bachelor couple's engagement film follows them as they frolic through an idyllic park. The footage, which the photographer, Captured By Chloe, posted to Instagram, features Kelsey in a white ruffle-tiered dress frolicking with Joey.
The engagement shoot footage is beautiful, and Joey and Kelsey look fantastic, even if it's a little corny.
Will Joey & Kelsey Suffer The Same Fate As Past Bachelor Couples?

Now, Kelsey and Joey are also complaining about the fact that they can't decide where they want to live.
Joey used to work as a fitness pro in Hawaii, while Kelsey recently quit her job as a junior project manager in Louisiana. These days, they're both social media influencers, which would make it much easier for them to live and work anywhere. If Joey and Kelsey end up deciding not to get married, it wouldn't be the first or last time a couple from The Bachelor didn't make it to their wedding.
