Vikings are latest joint practice opponents for Browns: Crowquill

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Minnesota Vikings sail in to town today for two joint practices and a preseason game. The practices are today and Thursday and are closed to the public. The game is Saturday.

The practices will feature a lot of first team versus first team reps. Then Saturday while the first teams get a rest, the rest of the depth chart will get a chance to show what they can do in a game situation.

For instance quarterback Deshaun Watson will practice against Minnesota’s first team defense today and Thursday, sit out Saturday’s game and then is scheduled to wrap up the preseason by starting against the Seahawks the following Saturday.
